Omega decided early on to pay special attention to the aesthetics of its movements, at a time when they weren't visible through a sapphire case-back as they often are today. Each movement carries a number of inscriptions — the brand, serial number, calibre — and Omega is one of the rare watchmaking houses to have chosen rose-gold-coloured movements, instantly recognisable to connoisseurs.
