Version in force as of 18 October 2026. This English translation is provided for information only. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version of these terms prevails.
Article 1 – Purpose and scope
These terms and conditions of sale (the "Terms") govern distance sales of products concluded on the website autrepairedemanches.fr (the "Website"), operated under the brand Une Autre Paire de Manches by VV ELEGANCE (the "Seller"), with customers acting as consumers (the "Customer").
The Customer confirms having read and accepted the Terms, by ticking the box provided for this purpose, before validating the order. The applicable Terms are those in force on the Website on the date of the order. They are available at any time on the Website and can be saved or printed.
Article 2 – Seller identity
- Company name: VV ELEGANCE, société par actions simplifiée (SAS) – trading name: Une Autre Paire de Manches

Article 3 – Products
The Website mainly offers cufflinks and accessories for men and women. The essential characteristics of each product (material, finish, dimensions, packaging) are shown on its product page. Photographs are as accurate as possible; slight differences in colour may nevertheless occur depending on the screen used.
Offers are valid while stocks last. Availability is shown on the product page and when ordering. If a product becomes unavailable after the order, the Customer is informed without delay and refunded the amounts paid for that product no later than fourteen (14) days after payment, unless the Customer accepts a replacement product.
Article 4 – Prices
Prices are shown in euros. As the Seller benefits from the VAT franchise scheme (article 293 B of the French General Tax Code), no VAT is charged: the displayed price is the final price paid by the Customer for the product.
Delivery charges are added to the price of the products. Their exact amount, depending on the delivery method chosen and the destination, is shown to the Customer before the order is validated, together with the total price payable.
For deliveries outside the European Union (in particular the United Kingdom and Switzerland), customs duties, import taxes or clearance fees may be charged by the country of destination. They are not included in the price and are payable by the recipient.
The Seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time; products are invoiced at the prices in force when the order is validated.
Article 5 – Ordering
The Customer may order with or without creating a customer account. To place an order, the Customer:
- selects the products and adds them to the basket;
- enters contact details and billing and delivery addresses;
- chooses a delivery method and a payment method;
- checks the order summary (products, prices, delivery charges, total) and may correct any errors;
- accepts the Terms, then confirms the order by clicking the validation button, which entails an obligation to pay.
The contract is concluded when the order is confirmed. The Seller sends the Customer an email acknowledgement summarising the order, which serves as confirmation on a durable medium. The Seller may refuse or cancel an order in the event of an unresolved prior dispute with the Customer, serious suspicion of fraud or non-payment.
The information recorded by the Website constitutes proof of the order and of the transactions, unless proven otherwise.
Article 6 – Payment
The price is payable in full when ordering. The available payment methods are displayed when ordering; at the date of these Terms, they include:
- bank card, via the secure payment provider Stripe;
- PayPal;
- bank transfer;
- cheque, payable to VV ELEGANCE.
Card details are processed directly by the payment providers and are not stored by the Seller. For payment by bank transfer or cheque, instructions are given at the end of the order and in the confirmation email; the order is prepared once payment has been received.
Products remain the property of the Seller until the price has been paid in full.
Article 7 – Delivery
Products are delivered to the address given by the Customer, in mainland France, the French overseas territories and abroad (in particular within the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), according to the destinations offered when ordering.
Several delivery methods may be offered depending on the destination and the contents of the basket, including:
- letter post with a velvet pouch instead of gift boxes (no tracking);
- letter post with gift box (no tracking);
- Colissimo, tracked parcel (paid option, costs more than letter post), France and international;
- Chronopost, for express delivery;
- La Poste for the French overseas territories.
Tracking. Letter post shipments (pouch or gift box) are sent as letters without a tracking number, and La Poste does not guarantee their delivery. Customers who want tracking should choose the Colissimo – tracked parcel option, which costs more than letter post; its price is shown at checkout.
For information, at the date of these Terms and for delivery in mainland France: shipping with a velvet pouch costs €2.49 and is free from €69 of purchases (mainland France); letter post with gift box costs €3.49 or €4.90 depending on the order amount and is free from €69 of purchases. The methods available, their prices for each destination and the indicative delivery times are displayed when ordering; this information, repeated in the order confirmation, is authoritative.
If no date or delivery time is indicated, products are delivered no later than thirty (30) days after the contract is concluded. In the event of delay, the Customer may, after requesting the Seller to deliver within a reasonable additional period, terminate the contract if delivery does not take place within that period, in accordance with articles L. 216-6 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. The Customer is then refunded all sums paid no later than fourteen (14) days thereafter.
The risk of loss of or damage to the products passes to the Customer when the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer, takes physical possession of the products. The Customer is invited to check the parcel on receipt and report any problem to customer service as soon as possible, without prejudice to the Customer's rights under the legal guarantees.
Article 8 – Right of withdrawal
In accordance with articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has fourteen (14) days to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason and without incurring any costs other than those set out below. This period runs from the day on which the Customer, or a third party other than the carrier designated by the Customer, takes physical possession of the product. For an order of several products delivered separately, it runs from receipt of the last product.
How to withdraw. To exercise this right, the Customer informs the Seller of the decision by an unequivocal statement, by email to contact@autrepairedemanches.fr or by post to the address below. The Customer may use the model withdrawal form in the appendix, but this is not obligatory. It is sufficient for the communication to be sent before the withdrawal period has expired.
Returning the products. The Customer sends back the products without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after communicating the decision, to the following address: VV ELEGANCE – Une Autre Paire de Manches, returns department, 18 rue du Colonel Moll, 75017 Paris, France. The direct cost of returning the products is borne by the Customer. A tracked service is recommended. The Customer is only liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning; products must therefore be returned complete, with their gift box or pouch.
Exceptions. In accordance with article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply in particular to goods made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalised (for example a product engraved at the Customer's request).
Article 9 – Refunds
In the event of withdrawal, the Seller refunds all sums paid by the Customer, including the initial delivery charges, no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which the Seller is informed of the decision to withdraw (article L. 221-24 of the French Consumer Code). Where the Customer expressly chose a delivery method more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery offered, the additional cost is not refunded.
The Seller may withhold the refund until it has received the products back or until the Customer has supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest.
The refund is made using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction, unless the Customer expressly agrees otherwise, and at no cost to the Customer.
Article 10 – Legal guarantees
The Seller is bound by the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L. 217-3 to L. 217-20 of the French Consumer Code) and the legal guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code), under the conditions set out below. To make a claim, the Customer contacts customer service (article 11).
Legal guarantee of conformity and legal guarantee against hidden defects
The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the application of the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer only needs to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it appeared.
Where the contract of sale provides for the continuous supply of digital content or a digital service for more than two years, the legal guarantee applies to that digital content or digital service throughout the planned supply period. During this period, the consumer only needs to establish the existence of the lack of conformity affecting the digital content or digital service, not the date on which it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity requires the professional, where applicable, to provide all updates necessary to keep the goods in conformity.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of the request, free of charge and without major inconvenience.
If the goods are repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee.
If the consumer requests repair but the seller imposes replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for two years from the date of replacement.
The consumer may obtain a reduction in the purchase price while keeping the goods, or terminate the contract and obtain a full refund against return of the goods, if:
1° the professional refuses to repair or replace the goods;
2° the repair or replacement takes place after a period of thirty days;
3° the repair or replacement causes major inconvenience to the consumer, in particular where the consumer definitively bears the cost of taking back or removing the non-conforming goods, or bears the cost of installing the repaired or replacement goods;
4° the lack of conformity persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to bring the goods into conformity.
The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or to termination of the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination. The consumer is then not required to request repair or replacement first.
The consumer is not entitled to terminate the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.
Any period during which the goods are out of use for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee period until the repaired goods are delivered.
The above rights result from articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code.
A seller who obstructs in bad faith the application of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to €300,000, which may be increased to 10% of average annual turnover (article L. 241-5 of the French Consumer Code).
The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund against return of the goods.
Where the legal guarantee of conformity applies, the cost of returning the non-conforming product is borne by the Seller.
Article 11 – Customer service
For any question, request for information or complaint, customer service can be reached:
- by email: contact@autrepairedemanches.fr;
- by telephone: +33 6 78 24 96 70;
- by post: VV ELEGANCE, 109 avenue Victor Hugo, 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt, France.
Article 12 – Personal data
VV ELEGANCE, as data controller, collects the Customer's personal data (identity, contact details, addresses, order history and exchanges with customer service) in order to manage orders, deliveries, payments and customer service, to prevent fraud and, subject to the Customer's consent or within the limits allowed by law, to send marketing information. This processing is based on performance of the contract, compliance with legal obligations (in particular accounting), the Seller's legitimate interest or the Customer's consent.
The data is intended for the Seller and, to the extent strictly necessary, for its service providers (payment, transport, website hosting). It is kept for the duration of the business relationship and then for the applicable legal periods (for example ten years for accounting records); data used for marketing purposes is kept for no more than three years after the Customer's last contact. Card details are processed by the payment providers and are not stored by the Seller.
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the amended French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, the Customer has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port their data, and to give instructions regarding their data after death. These rights can be exercised by email to contact@autrepairedemanches.fr or by post to the registered office. The Customer may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email, and may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
The Customer may register free of charge on the French Bloctel list to object to telephone canvassing (www.bloctel.gouv.fr).
Article 13 – Intellectual property
All elements of the Website (texts, photographs, logos, trademarks) are protected. Any reproduction or use, even partial, without the prior written permission of VV ELEGANCE is prohibited.
Article 14 – Consumer mediation
In accordance with articles L. 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer is entitled to refer a dispute with the Seller free of charge to a consumer mediator with a view to an amicable settlement. The Seller has appointed the following consumer mediator:
Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice (CM2C)
49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France
Website: www.cm2c.net
The mediator may only be approached after the Customer has first attempted to resolve the dispute directly with the Seller's customer service by means of a written complaint (email to contact@autrepairedemanches.fr or post, article 11), and no later than one year after that complaint. The mediation request can be submitted online on the CM2C website (www.cm2c.net, section « Déclarer un litige »), by email to declarer-un-litige@cm2c.net or by post to the address above. The Customer retains in all cases the right to bring proceedings before the competent courts.
Article 15 – Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. This clause does not deprive a Customer residing in another country of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence. In the event of a dispute, the Customer may bring proceedings, at their choice, before one of the courts with territorial jurisdiction under the French Code of Civil Procedure or before the court of the place where they lived when the contract was concluded or when the harmful event occurred.
